Some readers have been asking me to write a K Money Mastery review, since Stefan Pylarinos has recently updated his famous program to K Money Mastery 2.0.
To put it simply, K Money Mastery stands for Kindle Money Mastery, and Stefan has achieved good results and profits from publishing Kindle books on Amazon in the last couple of years.
K Money Mastery 2.0 is a great training program, but we have also seen several optional upgrades (one-time offers) that follow the initial purchase. Naturally, some customers don’t like it and there are even rumors on IM forums that K Money Mastery is a scam.
While K Money Mastery is definitely not a scam, I don’t recommend it to my readers as Kindle publishing is no longer the best way to make money online. I’ll explain the reasons below.
Name: K Money Mastery
Website: kmoneymastery.com
Owner: Stefan James Pylarinos
Price: K Money Mastery 2.0 ($67 one-time)
Price: + optional upsells
Legitimate? IT’S LEGITIMATE, BUT NOT RECOMMENDED ANYMORE

K Money Mastery 2.0 Review
Stefan puts up a comprehensive guide on Kindle publishing
Have you owned a Kindle electronic reader or bought any Kindle books from Amazon? If you do, you may understand the reason behind the success of Kindle when it was launched.
Kindle e-reader was launched in September 2011 with its unique, proprietary electronic ink that highly resemble paper quality.
Since then, Kindle has exploded in popularity thanks to its unique selling points to:
- Readers who like the compact size of Kindle and the ability to store thousands of books in it
- Readers who prefer paper quality over reading on an illuminated screen, such as the iPad
In a sense, the Kindle e-reader appeals to both the traditional book readers and the electronic book readers. That’s the secret behind its success.
Of course, an e-reader without a great collection of books is useless. This is where the Kindle publishers come in by publishing books and content that people want to buy.
One such successful publishers is Stefan James Pylarinos, the guy behind K Money Mastery 2.0 training program.
He has published hundreds of Kindle books and enjoys thousands of dollars in monthly passive income from the sales of these books.
Who Should Buy K Money Mastery 2.0?
K Money Mastery 2.0 offers detailed video lessons
K Money Mastery 2.0 training program is targeted towards those who want to build a relatively stable passive income from the internet.
Of course, when we say passive, we mean that you put in the hard work first and enjoy the passive fruits of labor afterwards. There’s no such thing as truly passive income.
If you are willing to put in the time, effort and initial investment into learning the Kindle market, it’s publishing process, and hiring freelancers to work on the books, you may eventually build up your arsenal of books that make you money every single month.
However, keep in mind that publishing Kindle books is a numbers game.
You can’t just publish one or two books and expect to make hundreds of dollars a month. For it to be successful, you have to put in the time and money to publish at least a collection of books that each make a tiny amount of profits each month.
If you are lucky, you may hit a jackpot and publish a wildly popular book that generate hundreds of dollars a month by itself.
But don’t count on that, as the probability of hitting a jackpot is not that high, now that the Kindle marketplace is becoming more saturated than before.
What Do You Get From K Money Mastery 2.0?
The full list of lessons included in K Money Mastery 2.0
What I like about Stefan’s K Money Mastery 2.0 is its comprehensive coverage on the topic of Kindle publishing.
It is probably one of the most comprehensive and well-packaged Kindle tutorial series out there.
It’s evident that Stefan has a wealth of knowledge in publishing Kindle books, and it really shows in his detailed lesson plans and video tutorials.
I won’t go into the details of each lesson, but most of the lessons consists of more than one video tutorials that properly explains a particular process of Kindle publishing.
Basically, the process of making money with Kindle publishing is as follow:
- Find a profitable niche in Kindle marketplace
- Perform keyword research to target profitable pockets
- Brainstorm a book title
- Write the book content (or outsource it)
- Proofread or edit the book content (or outsource it)
- Design a book cover (or outsource it)
- Publish your Kindle book in the marketplace
- Promote your book on various platforms and get Amazon reviews
- Repeat the process with a new book
As you can see, the process of Kindle publishing is pretty tedious. You obviously can’t do everything by yourself, and eventually you’ll have to outsource part of the processes to freelancers.
Even though Stefan has a way to get cheap writers from freelancer websites (hint: Fiverr.com), it’s not the best way to get good quality consistently.
Since these freelancers only charge $5 per job, the quality you get will often time be sub-par.
You will have to get an editor to re-write part of your books or proofread them yourself before publishing, which is not very practical considering you are aiming to publish quite a number of Kindle books.
With that said, I don’t recommend Kindle publishing and K Money Mastery 2.0 not because of the poor quality of Stefan’s training (in fact his training is great), but because of the reasons below.
Why I Don’t Recommend Kindle Publishing
The demand for Kindle books is waning
- The Demand of Kindle Books is Decreasing
According to Google trends that collect Google search queries over the years, we can see that the interest for Kindle and Kindle books has been slowly decreasing for a number of years now.
It has received overwhelming response when Kindle was first launched in 2011, but the number people who look for both Kindle and its books is deteriorating over the years.
It would have been a worthwhile market to enter if its a growing market, but since the demand is decreasing and the marketplace becoming more saturated with new books, entering Kindle publishing at this time can prove to be an uphill battle.
- Publishing Process is Too Tedious for an Unknown Venture
As explained above, the process of publishing a Kindle book is very tedious and requires a substantial amount of time and money.
Since the Kindle marketplace is getting more saturated with quality books, you can’t get away with publishing half-baked content and hope to get consistent profits over time.
If you publish low quality books, you are going to get a number of negative reviews and soon your books will stop appearing in the Kindle search results.
Even if you don’t get bad reviews, you have to keep up the promotional effort and get your books seen. Suddenly the passive income doesn’t look so passive anymore.
I’ve made a rough calculation for outsourcing a book, and it’s pretty hard to keep the costs within $100 for each book published.
Assuming you spend $100 publishing one book, you may be looking at thousands of dollars spent before receiving your first revenue.
- There is a Simpler Way to Make Money Online
For someone who has tried out various ways to make money online, I found that affiliate marketing offers a far lower entry barrier and a much higher chance of success compared to Kindle publishing.
Affiliate marketing is the way to generate commissions by recommending good products online.
This means that you don’t have to take care of the nitty-gritty of producing good products (like Kindle books) and instead focus on finding and recommending quality products that people want to buy.
I’ve written a comprehensive article on how affiliate marketing works, so go ahead and read it if you need more details.
Final Verdict: A Better Way to Make Money Online
Even though Stefan has produced a quality training program with his K Money Mastery 2.0, I don’t recommend going into Kindle publishing at this point of time.
The market is getting more saturated by the day with good books and the popularity of Kindle books is slowly waning away over these few years.
It is getting exponentially harder to generate the kind of income described by Stefan in his sales videos.
If you are still interested in trying out the program, you can buy K Money Mastery 2.0 with $67 one-time payment.
However, the barrier of entry has gotten higher and there is no telling if Kindle will make a comeback and rise in popularity again in the coming years.
On the other hand, learning how to generate income with affiliate marketing is an evergreen skill. Affiliate marketing is here to stay, and the skill set is much more versatile when it comes to making long term income from the internet.
There are a bunch of programs for affiliate marketing out there, but most of them charges too much and offer sub-par training. There is only one affiliate marketing training platform that I really recommend:

It’s a huge concern for K Money Machine after seeing that the Trend of Kindle has been declining ever since 2011. Despite this may be a good course, it may not be sustainable…
Edward
That’s true, publishing Kindle books may have been a profitable business a few years back, but it’s been going downhill since 2011.
Joshua
I’m a Kindle author, and what you said is pretty much spot on. It’s getting harder to make money on Kindle and the competition is getting more stiff.
I didn’t realize the demand for kindle has been decreasing until you put up the chart in this review. This might explain why I’m getting lesser and lesser sales.
Maybe it’s time to try something else?
Edward
Hey Joshua, thanks for sharing. Yeah it’d be good to start learning another skill set and diversify your earnings.
