45 Minute Paydays Review
45 Minute Paydays, or My Online Business Empire (MOBE) is probably one of the most overpriced and outrageous scams we’ve seen thus far. And we’ve seen hundreds of online scams.
The infamous MOBE goes by many other names, including My Top Tier Online Business (MTTB), My Online Empires, and now they are trying to disguise themselves as 45 Minute Paydays.
There are a few other landing pages that lead to MOBE and MTTB, including My Millionaire Mentor, Ultimate Dot Com Lifestyle and My Internet Success Coach.
Each of them was created by individual MOBE affiliates that want to recruit new members as their down-lines.
45 Minute Paydays makes a very attractive proposition – they are so confident that you can make money with their system, that they are paying you $500 just for trying.
Well it definitely sounds interesting, but there’s no way you can get that $500 without spending thousands of dollars first. We’ll get into that in a moment.
45 Minute Paydays Is Just Another Entry Point to MOBE
If you click on their disclaimer fine print at the bottom of their website, you’ll notice that instead of referring themselves as 45 Minute Paydays, they identify as MOBE.
It’s good to know this early on, so let’s enter our email address in the homepage and see what they have to offer.
Hypes and False Claims
On the second page, we are greeted by a generic claim that tries to hype up the program. If you have read my other scam reviews, you will probably find this template very familiar.
As expected, Raena from 45 Minute Paydays did not forget to create a sense of scarcity by claiming that the page will be taken down once their spots have been filled up.
Don’t be fooled though, the page will be up there as long as there are still victims to be scammed. It’s just a common sales tactic to make people make impulse purchase.
Edit: Turns out that Raena Lynn is one of Matt Lloyd’s (owner of MOBE) students that tries to recruit more down-lines for commissions (yes, MOBE is a MLM).
I’ve since written a detailed review on MOBE and MTTB to explain how it works.
How Much Does 45 Minute Paydays Cost?
Now that we’ve established 45 Minute Paydays is actually a spin-off of MOBE, let’s take a look at the charges required if you decide to join them.
In the sales page of 45 Minute Paydays, you are led to believe that the program only costs you $49 in total. And there is NO hidden fees, and NO monthly fees too.
But I can tell you that these are just blatant lies.
Raena conveniently left out the costs required to keep your membership account. You must pay a monthly membership fee of $19.95 just to keep your affiliate program active, regardless of whether you make any sales or not.
Of course, this information is not available on the sales page. You have to dig deep within the terms and conditions to find the disclaimer.
But the rip-off doesn’t end here.
How Does 45 Minute Paydays / MOBE Work?
The fees structure is hidden away in 45 Minute Paydays fine print
Let’s take a look at the fees structure for different kinds of memberships within 45 Minute Paydays / MOBE.
Keep in mind that this table is not presented in the sales pages of 45 Minute Paydays, instead it’s hidden deep within the fine prints of their disclaimer.
MOBE operates on a multi-level-marketing (MLM) structure. This means that you earn more if you are able to sell the program to more people.
There is nothing wrong in using MLM as a business model, the problem is that 45 Minute Paydays, and MOBE do not disclose the up-sells at all in their sales materials. Potential buyers are led to believe that $49 is all it takes to get started.
This is just irresponsible marketing.
You Need to Spend Thousands Before You Start Earning
There are several levels of membership accounts within 45 Minute Paydays / MOBE. The costs are as follow:
MOBE License Rights / MLR – $2,497
Titanium Mastermind- $9,997
Platinum Mastermind- $16,667
Diamond Mastermind- $29,997
The catch is, you can earn 50% of commission only if your down-lines purchase the same level / lower level of membership.
Let us consider the scenario below.
Let’s say I’m a MOBE licensee, which means I paid $2,497 for my license. If my down-line buys the MOBE license, I earn $1,250 commission from his purchase.
However, if my down-line purchases the Titanium license afterwards, while I’m only holding a MOBE license, I don’t get a cent of commission! The $3,300 commission from Titanium license purchase will be passed to my up-line.
So, to make it simpler, if you want to capture all the commissions from your down-lines, you better buy all the way up to Platinum license. And it will cost you in excess of $29,000 (at least) in the process!
There are a whole host of other high ticket products costing hundreds to thousands of dollars that you can earn commission from, but the structure is the same. You have to buy the license first in order to sell it to others to earn a commission.
Basically I’m required to scam other unsuspecting people who wants to start an honest online business, in order to start earning the commissions. Even if I am to disclose the up-sells beforehand, I wouldn’t recommend it to any potential customer because this is simply ridiculous.
This is a pyramid scheme packaged as an affiliate program. If you need to pay to promote someone’s product, you better stay away from it.
There are definitely much better ways to earn money online than to go the 45 Minute Paydays / MOBE route.
What About the $500 Guarantee?
It turns out that the $500 guarantee comes with terms and conditions. The 2 conditions you have to fulfill in order to get your $500 are as follow:
- You have to finish their 21 steps training (which you will be forced to buy MOBE license along the way)
- You must not skip a step or do the steps in wrong order
The bottom line is, unless you shell out at least $2,497 for the MOBE license, there is no way for you get $500 money back guarantee for the program.
You may come across people promoting MOBE online and claiming that they make good money off it, but keep in mind that these are the people who have invested a lot into the program, and they earn a huge commission if they successfully recruit someone who buys the license.
There may be arguments on whether MOBE is a scam, and there are people out there who defends the program. I wouldn’t be surprise if there are supporters of MOBE calling this review biased.
I imagine it may be profitable for seasoned internet marketers who already have an established blog or email list to recruit people, but it’s definitely not for newbies looking to make money online.
In my book, if you are required to pay so much just to get started (without prior knowledge), and continue to recruit unsuspecting people into the program, it qualifies as a scam.
Should I Buy 45 Minute Paydays / MOBE?
The answer is clear. The final verdict is NO, THIS IS A SCAM!
